Greene Street is the latest eatery to have opened in the heart of the city.
The eatery, which opened earlier this year, is taking over a busy block of Oxford Street, just down the road from the former Green Gourmet restaurant.
The food court is set up to accommodate the growing number of tourists visiting Dublin and is a popular spot for the city’s most popular tourist attractions.
Its owners say it is the perfect place for families, and is looking forward to opening in the new year.
“We’ve been here for over 20 years now, we’re not going anywhere and we’re going to continue to be here,” said chef Michael Stroud.
The restaurant’s name comes from the famous street in Oxford Street in Dublin where George Washington had his first wedding.
Its name is a reference to the Green Gaster in the New Testament.
It has been named the “Green Gourmet of the Year” by the Michelin Guide.
